Alosha 3 and his sister Jana 5 where locked in, in their home for many days, when the mother was out on her vodka tour.

They lived for many days only on potato skins.

Jana found a lose plank in the door and could finally crawl out to find some more to eat.

The neighbors wondered what is going on, why is she out begging for food, where is theire mother?

They contacted the police and social authorities, who took them to hospital.

After a treatment period at the local hospital, they were taken to our Children's Home "Friend's House". When they came to us they were very afraid after what they have been through.

Today May 2007 they have been with us eight months, and you can see a big difference.

Alosha was often crying, today he plays with you and smiles!

We don't know all details what they have been through, and what they have seen in front of their eyes. Although our Heavenly Father knows and He is the helper, who will help us to help these two little ones.

They have started to be like normal children, through the love from our staff, and from the other children, and most important through the love of God they have experienced.

That is what carries us every day. His faithfulness. His Love.
